The Library has a variety of study spaces and facilities and we also have an online guide for practical information.

Perch cafe, main building ground floor:

Monday to Friday 8am to 8.30pm

Saturday 8.30am to 5pm

Terrace 5 restaurant, main building 5th floor:

Monday to Friday 10.30am to 7pm

  • Lunch 12pm to 2.30pm
  • Dinner 5pm to 7pm

Main building, basement:

Vending machines available at all times (hot and cold drinks, snacks)

Birkbeck Central cafe, Malet Street:

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm

Clore Building, Torrington Square - basement:

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 9.30pm

Multi-faith room

There is a multi-faith room in the main building basement. This can be used by visitors as well as Birkbeck students and staff - ask at reception.

 

Workstation rooms

IT Services provide computer rooms with PCs, printers and standard software for teaching and open access.
